Mannequin Makeover

Supplies Needed:

  • Styrofoam mannequin head
  • Mod Podge
  • Tissue paper
  • Foam brush
  • Scissors

Directions:

Take 1-2 sheets of tissue paper and ball it up. Unball the paper but do not smooth it out. This gives the paper more texture. Start cutting up the tissue paper; I used a square type shape  and later cut triangle shapes around the eyes, nose, and lips. I used a regal, party tissue paper so that the leftover can be used for other projects or gifts. Your squares do not have to be perfect . Use a foam brush to apply Mod Podge to a small area of the head and then stick on a piece of paper. It is best to work in small areas because the Mod Podge dries fairly quickly. Once your head is covered apply a final coat of Mod Podge to the outside and smooth all the pieces of paper down. Allow it to dry and she is ready to go!
