I initially intended to have these be centerpieces but ended up using them on the food table.
Gather the following supplies:
6 Styrofoam cubes, 3.8 x 3.8 x 3.8
Black card stock
Glue gun, sticks
1-inch circle hole punch
Step 1: Buy the styrofoam cubes and remove the plastic. I bought 6 cubes from Dollar Tree in the floral department. Mine was standard styrofoam very smooth, paintable styrofoam. I choose not to paint any of mine black.
Step 2: Cut out the circles. I purchased a 1-inch circle punch from Hobby Lobby regularly $7.99 I think; with a coupon I got it for around $3.50. You will need 21 dots for each die.
Step 3: Apply a small amount of glue to each circle and attach it to the square, keeping the die true to form. I would make sure to work in a well ventilated area.
There you have it! Large scale die to use as centerpieces or to hold food signs.
