Sesame Street Door Sign

Here is the tutorial for making your own Sesame Street sign. A special thanks to All Things G & D.

Here is the “Welcome” sign that I will use on the door for Olivia’s Sesame Street party. You can print out the Sesame Street Welcome Sign in color on white cardstock and cut around the outer line. I also laminated each portion.  The personalized signs below the welcome sign was easily made using Adobe Photoshop using a Comic Sans font.

I cut about a 8×10 size “O” and “2″ out of foam poster board and covered them in wrapping paper. The easiest way is no add Mod Podge to the number and add the paper. The cut slits in the paper, apply Mod Podge, and fold over.

For the sticks that everything is bounded to: I used paint stirring sticks. Trace the stick on the ribbon of your choice and cut them out. Add a layer of Mod Podge and smooth it out.

I pieced it all together using hot glue.

You can add ribbon to the back to use as a hook or do as I will, and apply a Command strip to the back.
