Sesame Street Cupcake Toppers

I decided to keep the design simple. ‘Happy Birthday Olivia’ on the front and the number 2 with polka dots on the back; this also ties into her birthday shirt. These Avery labels all come with a template and easy to edit systems online. Each sheet holds 12 so make sure you do not print too many fronts and not enough backs.

Print everything out. I cut out 2 inch scalloped card stock as a base.

Sesame Street Party Favor Bags

I found these cute, solid colored bags at Dollar Tree, three to a pack for a $1. I found some Sesame Street character faces online and made stencils out of them to paint on the bags.

The goodies inside will include a Sesame Street cup that you can find here. They will also receive a coloring book page, crayons, candy, a bracelet, notepad, pen, stickers, a pencil, and erasers. All of these items were purchased from Dollar Tree and on clearance at Walmart. Package everything and I will add a ‘thank you’ Sesame Street tag to one handle.

Sesame Street Invite Envelopes

Since I made my own invitations, I wanted to make my own envelopes. I found several simple foldable designs online. After making a few design changes I got to work.

Once you cut out the template, I cut it out with each color of solid cardstock.

Now it’s time to fold. First fold the sides inward.

Now fold the bottom up and secure it. You can use double sided tape or Mod Podge.

Insert your invite and seal close with the methods suggested above.

For my labels I used Avery 2×4 labels and created the addresses in Adobe Photoshop. I scaled them down to get three per label. I was able to get nine return labels per label. Now simply peel and stick. I think they really added to the Sesame Street theme with the bright, solid colors.

Sesame Street Party Favor Cups

This will be one of the favors that will be in the bags. I got these tumblers from Dollar Tree. They came 6 to a pack and the colors were great for her party. The choices were easy; Cookie Monster, Elmo, and Oscar.

I found small faces online and printed them out.

This took a little time, but was worth it. Cut the faces out. I had to use Photoshop to add a small cookie to the Cookie’s face.

Textual evidence your foam brush and add a generous amount of Mod Podge to the side of the cup. This being a plastic material I had to press the picture firmly.

Once you have them on, add another layer of Mod Podge.

I also made Kermit and Grover (not pictured).

Sesame Street Food Tents

The signs for Olivia’s party were very easy. I used the primary colors to add flair and similarity. I also kept with the theme; C is for Cookie, M is for meat, and so on.

Create your design and position it so that you can fold the paper in half. This allows the sign to have the ‘tent’ effect. You can see the ones I created below.

Well Wishes for the Birthday Girl

This sign will be for guest to write well wishes and be used as a keepsake for Olivia. She look back on it and see who was at her party and the nice things they had to say when she was little.

To create your own, all you need is the graduation wishes board and a 16×20 frame, both purchased from Wal-mart. I used stick, foam letters and spelled out my phrase. I used small letters for the words and a larger number for my letter. I also cut out Big Bird and made a Sesame Street sign to add to the theme. Pretty easy and cheap but it turned out so well.
